COVID-19: Together We Can Overcome
THIS VIRUS IS IMPACTING EVERYONE; WE ARE FEELING IT DEEPLY.
The COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent quarantine of communities has changed our way of life. With these changes, we are watching as long term funding sources deplete.
Did you know The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act includes taxpayer incentives to make charitable donations? Talk to your accountant for details.
Also, if you are deciding how best to use your stimulus check, please consider donating it to Children's Village where it will help us keep these children safe and loved.
Who are we?
Children’s Village is the only non-profit children’s residential care facility in Kootenai County and houses the only Crisis Nursery in North Idaho. Our two residential homes are open 24 hours, 365 days per year for children removed from their home by law enforcement or the Department of Health and Welfare and is the only foster care facility capable of serving large sibling groups.
Additionally, Children’s Village is the only resource in Kootenai County for privately placed children, whose families are experiencing severe crisis such as homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, and/or a mental health crisis.
