Located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, we are a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) dedicated to providing a safe haven and restoring hope for children who have been abused, neglected, or are in severe family crisis. We serve privately placed community children as well as children placed with us by the Department of Health and Welfare.
Who are we?
In our 31st year of service to our community, Children’s Village is dedicated to providing a safe haven for children who have been abused, neglected, or are in severe family crisis. As a 24-hour residential facility, we are fully staffed at all times to meet the needs of all children, including those with complex behaviors rooted in trauma.
Children’s Village is also one of the few Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTP) in all of Idaho for youth within the foster system. A QRTP is a specific category of non-foster family home setting, for which public child welfare agencies must meet detailed assessment, case planning, documentation, judicial determinations and ongoing review and permanency hearing requirements for a child to be placed. We are federally accredited through CARF.
